We are particularly proud of our youth fire department (8 children) and children's fire department (34 children) "also Löschbande" called!
Our home village Brunstorf with 690 inhabitants, is a municipality in the district Duchy Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein. Our village was first mentioned in 1299. Since 1948 it is part of the Office Schwarzenbek-Land.
Brunstorf is located on the main road B207, between Hamburg-Schwarzenbek and Lübeck. The majority of the villagers work outside the village. The good traffic connection to the federal highways A 20 Lübeck-Rostock, A 24 Hamburg-Berlin and A 25 Hamburg-Geesthacht, makes Brunstorf as a residence for commuters extraordinarily attractive. The nearby Schwarzenbek and Aumühle train stations are easy to reach by bike, car or public transport.
Shopping, schools, medical practices, swimming pools and cinemas are located in nearby communities.
Sooner or later, the townscape is dominated by agriculture, old half-timbered houses and the church. This is also reflected in the coat of arms of the community. A new development area and small businesses have been successfully integrated into village life in recent years.
Although Brunstorf is a small community, there is everything you need to live here.
Over the decades, the task of the defense has changed from pure fire protection to the field of technical assistance and as a cultural institution in our village life.
We are especially proud of our Jugend.- and Kinderfeuerwehr "also Löschbande" called!
